Free Shipping on Every Order

RG Woodshop offers free shipping on all orders within the continental United States. There is no minimum order value and no hidden fees at checkout. Every order ships via FedEx. We do not currently ship outside the United States.

Production Time — Everything Is Made to Order

Every RG Woodshop piece is built to order by hand in our North Carolina workshop. Nothing is pre-made or held in inventory. Your piece is cut, shaped, finished, and personally inspected before it ships. Please allow the following production times before your order is shipped:

  • Standard orders— 5 to 10 business days
  • Custom and engraved orders— 7 to 14 business days depending on complexity
  • Large and complex segmented pieces— 14 to 21 business days
  • XL commission pieces(open segmented vases 21"+ and other statement commissions) — 3 to 4 weeks. Lead time is confirmed before you order.
  • Rush orders— available upon request. Contact us before placing your order to confirm availability.

Shipping Time After Dispatch

Once your order ships via FedEx, standard delivery within the continental United States typically takes 2 to 5 business days depending on your location. Total estimated time from order to delivery is 7 to 17 business days for most orders.

You will receive a FedEx tracking number by email as soon as your order ships so you can follow it every step of the way to your door.

Gift Shipping

Orders can be shipped directly to a gift recipient anywhere in the continental United States. Simply enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. If you would like a handwritten gift note included, add your message in the order notes field at checkout and we will include it at no extra charge.

Natural Wood Characteristics

All RG Woodshop pieces are handcrafted from premium American hardwoods — black walnut, cherry, and red oak. Wood is a natural material and each piece is unique. While we carefully inspect every piece before shipment and make every effort to select material free of defects, natural characteristics inherent to wood may be present including grain variation, color variation, minor natural checks, mineral streaks, and subtle knot inclusions. These natural characteristics are not defects and are not grounds for return. We will never ship a piece with structural defects or workmanship flaws.

Product Use & Food Safety Notice

Not all RG Woodshop products are intended for direct food contact or liquid use. Cutting boards, serving trays, trivets, and food-safe turned bowls are finished with food-grade mineral oil and are safe for food contact. All segmented pieces, decorative vessels, vases, signs, clocks, mirrors, lanterns, pedestals, jewelry boxes, keepsake boxes, and birdhouses are display only — not for food contact, water, soil, or live plants. The decorative exterior of cookie stamp sets is not food-safe; only the stamp face surfaces are food contact surfaces. If you are unsure whether your specific product is food-safe, contact us at roy@rgwoodshop.com before ordering.

Packaging

Every order is carefully packaged to withstand shipping. We use appropriately sized boxes with sufficient padding and bracing for each product type. Turned pieces, segmented bowls, and segmented vases receive extra protection given their form and value. If your order arrives damaged due to insufficient packaging on our part, contact us immediately and we will make it right.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the damage, and clear photographs. Please keep all original packaging materials — FedEx may require them for a damage claim. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. RG Woodshop is not responsible for orders delayed or undeliverable due to an incorrectly entered address. If you notice an address error after placing your order, contact us immediately at roy@rgwoodshop.com — if your order has not yet shipped we can correct it at no charge.
