Agreement to Terms

By accessing rgwoodshop.com or placing an order with RG Woodshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

About RG Woodshop

RG Woodshop is a disabled veteran-owned handcraft business operating as a single-member LLC registered in the State of North Carolina. All products are handmade to order by the owner — a disabled veteran — in his North Carolina workshop. Every purchase directly supports American craftsmanship and one veteran's mission.

Products — Natural Wood Characteristics

All RG Woodshop products are handcrafted from premium American hardwoods — black walnut, cherry, and red oak. Because wood is a natural material, each piece is unique. Natural characteristics including grain variation, color variation, minor natural inclusions, mineral streaks, and subtle tonal differences are inherent to the material and are not defects. We make every effort to select premium material and remove visible defects, but some minor natural characteristics may remain due to the nature of the materials we work with.

Product photos are representative of the craftsmanship and style of each piece. Because every piece is made to order from natural wood, your exact piece will have a unique grain pattern and may vary slightly in natural color from the photos shown. This is a feature of handcrafted wood goods, not a flaw.

Product Use & Food Safety

Not all RG Woodshop products are intended for direct food contact. Cutting boards, serving trays, trivets, and food-safe turned bowls are finished with food-grade mineral oil and are safe for direct food contact. All segmented pieces (bowls and vases), decorative vessels, display pieces, signs, clocks, mirrors, vases, lanterns, pedestals, jewelry boxes, keepsake boxes, and birdhouses are finished with polyurethane or satin finish and are not intended for food contact, food storage, water, or liquid use. None of our vases or decorative vessels are suitable for water, soil, or live plants. If you are unsure whether a product is food-safe, contact us before ordering.

Made to Order

All products are made to order. Nothing is pre-built or held in inventory. Production typically begins within 1–3 business days of receiving your order. Standard orders ship within 5–10 business days. Custom and engraved orders may require up to 14 business days. Large commission pieces require 3–4 weeks. Rush orders are available upon request — contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged for your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. Sales tax is collected for orders shipped to North Carolina in accordance with North Carolina state law. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through Shopify Payments. Payment is charged in full at the time of order placement. For XL commission pieces, a 50% deposit is required at order with the balance due before shipment.

Veteran Discount

All active duty service members, veterans, and military retirees receive a 10% discount on all orders. To claim your discount, submit a copy of your VA ID card, DD214, or active or reserve military ID when you contact us before or immediately after placing your order. The discount is applied before your card is charged. The veteran discount cannot be combined with other promotional discounts or coupon codes unless otherwise stated.

Shipping

We ship to addresses within the continental United States only via FedEx. All orders ship free. We are not responsible for delays caused by FedEx, weather events, natural disasters, or circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss and title for products pass to the customer upon delivery to FedEx.

Cancellations and Returns

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund. After production has begun, cancellations are not accepted. Custom and personalized orders are final sale once production has begun. Please review our full Return and Refund Policy for complete details.

Intellectual Property

All content on rgwoodshop.com including photographs, text, product descriptions, designs, the RG Woodshop name, and all branding is the intellectual property of RG Woodshop LLC. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from RG Woodshop.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products are provided "as is" and are intended for household decorative and functional use only — not for commercial, industrial, structural, or safety-critical applications. We make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in our policies.

Limitation of Liability

RG Woodshop's total liability for any claim arising from a product purchase is limited to the purchase price of the item in question. In no event shall RG Woodshop be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain damages — in those states our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or from a purchase shall first be attempted to be resolved by direct communication with us. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or resolved in the courts of Pitt County, North Carolina.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
